Event Security Officer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Event Security Officer to join our team. As an Event Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of events and activities across metropolitan Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your security career and gain valuable experience in the industry. You will work closely with our experienced event teams to ensure the smooth operation of events and provide exceptional customer service to attendees.

  • Welcoming attendees to events
  • Providing ticketing or credential access control at entry
  • Monitoring crowd behaviour and RSA
  • Securing event perimeters and managing restricted areas
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the safety and security of events
  • Providing excellent customer service to attendees
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve event goals
  • Maintaining conditions of entry and crowd management
Requirements:
  • NSW 1A Security Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current)
  • Flexibility and availability to work evening and weekend shifts
