We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to fill the position of Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a strong security presence at licensed premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patron safety and maintain venue compliance with licensing laws.
  • Perform ID checks and manage entry points.
  • Monitor crowd behavior and assist in de-escalating incidents.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally.
  • Liaise with venue management and emergency services when required.
  • Complete accurate incident and shift reports.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current NSW Security Licence (1AC minimum).
  • Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in licensed venue security, crowd control, or event security.
  • Knowledge of Liquor Act compliance and venue entry protocols.
  • Training in de-escalation, self-defence, or situational awareness.
