Cold Storage Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:

  • Experienced high reach forklift operators are required for a prominent client based in Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operating High Reach Forklifts efficiently and safely
  2. A warehouse with 5 high and 2 deep pallets requires optimal management
  3. Picking orders
  4. Transferring products
  5. Maintaining safe operations

Requirements:

  • A valid Forklift License is mandatory, accompanied by at least 12 months of experience operating High Reach equipment
  • Previous experience within the food production industry is advantageous
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial
  • Good physical fitness is necessary for occasional manual labor tasks
  • Extended exposure to cold temperatures is also required
  • Attention to detail and numerical skills are essential
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures is mandatory
  • Flexibility regarding working hours, including overtime when necessary
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
  • Availability to start immediately is preferred
  • Full working rights are necessary
