Permanent Part-Time Nursery Worker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at a wholesale plant nursery specialising in ornamental trees and fruit trees.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent part-time role with flexible hours and an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for propagation, weeding, pruning and general plant maintenance, as well as potting and preparing plants for sale and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propagation of ornamental and fruit trees
  • Weeding, pruning and general plant maintenance
  • Potting and preparing plants for sale and delivery
  • Outdoor work in different weather conditions
  • Working independently and following instructions

Requirements:

  • Horticulture or nursery experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone when needed
  • Reliable with own transport
