Job Title: Aboriginal Health Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of key Aboriginal Health programs, including the Aboriginal Complex Care Team and Aboriginal Hospital Liaison. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change and support better health outcomes for Aboriginal people across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of key Aboriginal Health programs
  • Lead cultural and operational leadership to support staff
  • Champion culturally safe and effective care
  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of Aboriginal Health priorities
  • Provide expert advice and cultural leadership to senior leaders

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and health issues, supported by relevant qualifications and/or management experience. They will be skilled in leading strategic planning and developing effective, culturally safe health programs.

About You:

- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and are accepted by your community

- Have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and health issues, supported by relevant qualifications and/or management experience

- Be an experienced leader with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage Aboriginal staff, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver outcomes through strong partnerships and data-informed decision making
