Start Your Career in Civil Construction

We are seeking motivated individuals for an entry-level civil construction apprenticeship.

This opportunity is available as a full-time or school-based apprenticeship, providing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations, all training paid for and real-world industry experience.

You will learn all aspects of the building and construction industry to make a positive change to the infrastructure in your local community.

  • All work uniform and PPE provided
  • 9 day working fortnight
  • Work within a supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience
  • Achievement of Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minor road reconstruction and asphalt laying
  • Lay and repair stormwater pipes and drainage pits
  • Major Plant Operation - Excavator, skid steer, roller and 3 tonne crane
  • Minor Plant Operation - Grinders, Quick Cut Saw, Vibe Plate
  • Workzone Traffic Management - Setup of traffic management for construction activities

  • Driven with a positive attitude
  • Enjoy working in an outdoor, team first environment
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Physically fit and able to move repetitively
  • Strong verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Provisional or c-class driver's licence with reliable transport
  • Any labouring or industry experience (desirable)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, including drug and alcohol
