Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Field Service Technician to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of earthmoving, construction, and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Detection and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components.
  • Perform dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of mechanical components using service manuals.
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A trade certificate in heavy equipment or the automotive industry (mandatory).
  • A valid Australian driver's license (mandatory).
  • Automotive Air Conditioning license (desirable).
  • Auto Electrical experience and diagnostic skills (desirable).
  • MR, Forklift, EWP, plant, and LPG licenses (desirable).
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in hydraulics and electrical circuits (desirable).
