Our organization is seeking an experienced journalist/producer to create well-researched, sophisticated briefs for a long-form radio program. This individual will be responsible for generating original story ideas, conducting interviews and panel discussions, and producing comprehensive briefs on complex topics in social affairs, public policy, consumer affairs, and cultural issues.

Job Description
  • Provide high-level editorial input and creative guidance to the program team.
  • Develop and implement effective content strategies that engage and inform the target audience.

The ideal candidate will have advanced journalistic skills, excellent news sense, and advanced editorial judgment. They will also possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Proven capacity for highly creative leadership and the ability to design and produce engaging and entertaining radio programs.
  • Daily radio experience with a good network of contacts.
