Job DescriptionThe eight-week paid Radio Internship Program is open to individuals from all backgrounds, qualifications, and levels of experience.
Whether you have a passion for radio, relevant qualifications or experience, or are looking to explore a new career path, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain real-world industry experience.
We welcome driven and eager candidates who are excited to learn, grow, and contribute across our various radio departments.Across the eight weeks, no two days will look the same, giving you a broad hands-on feel for what it's like to work within our Radio station
One day you might be creating content with our producers and on-air talent across our different programs, engaging audiences through posts on our social media platforms or you could learn panel operation for smooth live or pre-recorded broadcasts, managing timing, content, and audio quality.
You will truly gain a comprehensive understanding of what it's like to work within our Radio station.
Based out of Cannon Hill, Brisbane, the internship program is managed by our Radio Station / Content Manager and you will be buddied up with a Mentor for each of your rotations.QualificationsYou will have: Available for full time work, for eight weeks commencing Tuesday 7th October 2025.
You may be required to work across different shifts (day, afternoon, nights, weekends).
A genuine knowledge and passion for news and current affairsYou have an interest in pursuing a career within the Radio/Audio spaceOpen to the potential of either permanent or casual opportunities post internshipAre professional in approach and have strong work ethicExcellent communication skillsAre eager to learn and get as much out of the program as possibleAnd most importantly, you are a team player that works best in a team based (and fun) environment
