As a Membership Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team that promotes and represents our company's values and culture. Your role will be to seek out new members and demonstrate why Fitness Cartel Australia is the best place for them to reach their fitness goals.

The Role: As a Membership Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and representing our company, its values and culture. This includes generating leads using creative techniques to ensure a constant flow of incoming leads, including promoting the facilities to local businesses and the community. You will also provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members; demonstrate club facilities and highlight features and benefits that meet identified fitness needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New membership sales - manage and grow the club member base.
  • Generate leads using creative techniques.
  • Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members.
  • Create great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions.
  • Achieve successful outcomes to enquiries.
  • Track leads, appointments & sales daily on our CRM.
  • Work with your team to meet and exceed membership sales targets and other KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of previous sales experience, preferably in the fitness industry but not mandatory.
  • A financially motivated person with natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals.
  • Experience in a KPI-driven environment with a proactive lead generation mindset.
  • Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life and a desire to help people succeed with their goals.
  • Ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
  • Outstanding communication abilities — able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others.
  • Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Ability to be a role model and live by healthy values and behaviours while being passionate about the gym brand you work for.
  • A can-do attitude with a thirst for learning and ambition for growth.
