About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Customer Data Science team, responsible for building and maintaining seamless, secure and sustainable platforms that enable customers to shop with confidence and merchant partners to grow their brands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and AI, with experience in developing and deploying predictive models and algorithms to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI chatbots to support our CX agents
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise various processes and enhance operational efficiency or improve the customer experience
  • Analyse large, complex datasets using statistical methods to extract valuable actionable insights
  • Support the development of AI innovation solutions using the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role (2 to 5 years of relevant experience)
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques, with hands-on experience in model development and evaluation
  • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency in querying languages (e.g., SQL)
  • Experience in using modern data stack for end-to-end data science & analytics (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, DBT)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
