About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the FMCG, Logistics, and Manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management:
    • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Coordinate order fulfillment with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
    • Address any issues or delays in order processing.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, product inquiries, and complaints.
    • Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates on their orders and address any concerns.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock availability.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory replenishment and stock transfers.
    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize supply issues and excess inventory.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Coordinate transportation and shipping arrangements for outgoing orders.
    • Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Resolve any issues related to transportation or logistics that may impact order delivery.
  • Problem Resolution:
    • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues related to order fulfillment, delivery, or product quality.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and quality assurance, to address customer concerns effectively.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions.
    • Generate reports on key performance metrics such as order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery performance, and customer satisfaction scores.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in supply chain operations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline order management processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize supply chain customer service operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
    • Utilize CRM software to manage customer accounts, track interactions, and maintain customer profiles.
    • Leverage CRM data to personalize customer communication and anticipate customer needs.
    • Identify up-sell or cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer value and revenue.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide training and guidance to customer service representatives on supply chain processes and procedures.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in supply chain management.
    • Continuously develop skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the supply chain process.
    • Conduct quality checks on incoming inventory and outgoing shipments to maintain product integrity.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues promptly.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to optimize supply chain operations and enhance customer service capabilities.
    • Provide input on supply chain strategies, initiatives, and goals based on customer feedback and market insights.
    • Support the development and implementation of long-term supply chain strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
