Religious Education Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our educational team as a Religious Education Coordinator. This role offers the opportunity to shape faith-filled learning and lead initiatives that inspire students and staff.

This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about promoting Catholic identity, compassion, and excellence in education. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with the Principal and Parish Priest to develop a culture rooted in these values.

Your responsibilities will include leading curriculum innovation, mentoring colleagues, and fostering strong connections with the parish and wider community. You will also be responsible for managing COSI compliance matters and implementing the school's Behaviour Policy.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven capacity to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and demonstrate high-level knowledge of Religious Education Frameworks and the Diocesan (K–6) RE Syllabus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives that promote Catholic identity, compassion, and excellence in education
  • Mentor colleagues and foster strong connections with the parish and wider community
  • Manage COSI compliance matters and implement the school's Behaviour Policy
  • Develop and implement Religious Education programs that meet the needs of students
Requirements:
  • Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years successful teaching experience consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Working with Children Clearance number
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training
