About the Role

As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients with limited English proficiency and Deaf clients have equal access to healthcare services. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while providing high-quality customer service
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Work collaboratively as part of a diverse team to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a call centre environment handling high volumes of inbound calls and some outbound calls
  • High level customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • Sound oral and written communication skills, including very good listening and negotiating skills
  • Sound administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
  • Intermediate computer literacy and ability to adapt various in-house systems and platforms used in healthcare
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity and awareness of the specific needs of Deaf clients
