Job Title: Disability Services Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Services Practitioner.

The successful candidate will work within our Community Participation division, facilitating innovative programs that focus on building skills for clients with disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients in daily tasks such as personal and self-care, eating, and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Assisting clients to participate in community activities based on their interests and hobbies.
  • Proactively promoting community inclusion through follow-up opportunities for participants.

Our ideal candidate is a caring and empathetic person with effective communication skills and well-developed interpersonal abilities. They should also be an efficient organiser and have flexibility to work across several sites within the region.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability) or equivalent.
  • First Aid Level II.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless exempt.
