Job Title: Care Team Leader

Role Overview:

As a dedicated Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to clients and carers within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the quality of service delivery to ensure optimal client satisfaction and staff performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and staff within your region, fostering open communication and resolving any concerns or issues efficiently.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations within your region, driving high-quality, consistent service delivery and ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Supervise and support a team of Care and Domestic Workers to provide top-notch services to our clients, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide comprehensive induction for all new staff members, guaranteeing they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure ongoing training compliance for all staff within your region, prioritizing upskilling and reskilling to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Document and address any performance issues among employees, implementing targeted solutions to improve outcomes and foster a culture of growth and development.
  • Encourage and promote a safe work culture, minimizing safety incidents and injuries through proactive measures and regular assessments.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the team, keeping them informed of relevant information and ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Identify, report, and resolve hazards and incidents promptly, maintaining strict adherence to safe work procedures and protocols.
  • Respond to and manage client or staff concerns or complaints, demonstrating empathy and professionalism throughout the process.
  • Meet with clients in their homes to complete paperwork and facilitate commencement of their services, ensuring seamless integration and satisfaction.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve outstanding results and drive organizational success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of effective relationships and the promotion of services.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills, allowing for innovative management of service delivery and proactive issue resolution.
  • Ambitious and empathetic approach, able to manage the sensitivities of client and employee issues while driving business outcomes.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ensuring effective planning and prioritization of work tasks and projects.
  • Knowledge of service provision, allocation, and compliance with contractual obligations, maintaining high standards and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of manual handling principles, with the ability to train others and promote a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Health qualification and/or Certificate III in Community Support Services, enabling participation in and demonstration of personal care.
