Senior Associate/Special Counsel Tax Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to support the growth and success of our tax practice. The role involves providing expert advice to clients on complex tax issues, with a focus on direct and indirect taxation.

About This Opportunity:

This is an exceptional chance for a highly experienced professional to make a significant impact in our Sydney tax group. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior partners and contribute to business development initiatives.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the tax practice in advising clients on direct and indirect tax matters, including tax planning and dispute resolution.
  • Contribute to business development and mentor junior lawyers, helping them to develop their technical skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • At least 9 years' PQE from a reputable law firm or legal and tax arm of a large accounting firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge in direct and indirect tax, with experience in tax planning, dispute resolution, and litigation.
  • Proactive and client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
