Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Owner - Retail Media to join our team. As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive retail media strategy to drive revenue growth and enhance our understanding of the evolving retail media landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a retail media strategy to drive revenue growth and identify emerging product trends and technologies.
  • Analyse existing products and identify improvement areas to achieve revenue goals.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new ad formats and developing data partnerships to expand the product suite.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of the Retail Media product roadmap and lead go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage product development and eCommerce and loyalty transformation activities.
  • Stakeholder management will involve engaging partners, aligning on shared objectives, and managing risks, while fostering a culture of innovation for outstanding performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, oversee quality management, and implement processes to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to digital, data governance, security, and privacy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product management, specifically as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • Skilled in defining business requirements and collaborating with digital platform vendors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing consumer-facing apps and eCommerce solutions, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Proficient in creating digital business cases and managing capex/opex requests.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT frameworks such as ITIL and familiarity with diverse digital platforms including Ad Servers, Personalisation tools, Onsite Search, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong data literacy skills.
  • Competent in gathering relevant information, engaging with key stakeholders, analyzing issues from multiple perspectives, and proposing effective solutions that meet end-user requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or Computer Science highly desirable.
