The Project
The project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with airfield pavements, asphalt contracting, and civil construction background, to join our multi-disciplinary project team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious professional to enable the delivery of a major business initiative within a complex project.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in asphalt contracting, roads, and pavement construction. A tertiary qualification in engineering is required, as well as a proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a collaborative team attitude with frontline operational co-ordination experience and a demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners.
The successful candidate will have a high level understanding of resourcing, technical, scheduling, and contract management to achieve and exceed safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
Experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded, and the ability to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements is essential.
