Senior Embedded Software Developer Position

Job Overview:

The primary objective of this Senior Embedded Software Engineer role is to conceptualize, design, and develop cutting-edge embedded software solutions for our extensive product range. This involves collaborating closely with various teams and partners to deliver high-quality software that meets regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative and robust embedded software for medical devices, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Enhance and maintain existing embedded systems, improving their efficiency and reliability.
  • Promote effective collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve compliant software solutions.
  • Continuously improve software development processes, focusing on enhanced productivity and quality.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to design, debug, and validate new product features, aligning them with customer needs and expectations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation throughout the development lifecycle, facilitating smooth project progression.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing embedded software for medical devices, showcasing expertise in relevant technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware-level interfaces, ensuring seamless communication between software and hardware components.
  • Familiarity with international standards, such as IEC 62304, which governs the development of medical device software.
  • Proven expertise in programming languages like C/C++ and proficiency in ARM-based microcontroller families.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, guaranteeing efficient software delivery.
  • Proficiency in real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr, and bare-metal programming techniques.
