We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working on highly complex mission-critical systems software that enhances the operational effectiveness, survivability, and interoperability of armoured fighting vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for armoured vehicle systems
  • Collaborate with engineers to meet Defence standards and requirements
  • Create and update software specifications and documentation
  • Perform software verification, debugging, and quality assurance
  • Develop diagnostic tools to support vehicle maintenance
  • Manage software versions and configuration control
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in embedded software development, preferably in Defence or complex systems
  • Proven experience in systems engineering within Defence programs, ideally in the land domain
  • Strong skills in C/C++, RTOS, and software testing
  • Knowledge of Defence standards (e.g. MIL-STD) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Current NV1 Defence Security Clearance or higher
