We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Google Ads, preferably with agency experience, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, technology, or other associated disciplines.

The successful candidate will be an individual who thrives in a small and dynamic agency that punches above its weight, possessing the ability to collaborate with team members, whilst enjoying the autonomy to immerse themselves in challenges.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced and fast-growth position. As a member of the Consulting team, you will be delivering Google Ads campaigns for a diverse group of clients.

  1. Paid Search campaign delivery – plan and execute Paid Search campaigns, performing analysis, developing strategy, aligning with client goals, adapting to change, and integrating with full-service digital strategies.
  2. Google Ads analysis - conduct Google Ads Audits, analyse campaign performance, compare campaign configuration to best practice, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations in the form of client-ready deliverables.
  3. Paid Search strategy - assist with the development of Paid Search strategies, the planning of Paid Search campaigns, the development of Paid Search campaign forecasts, and the synthesising of Paid Search campaign activities and results into digestible and meaningful client reports.
  4. Technical Google Ads excellence – possess advanced capabilities across all Paid Search sub-functions, including keyword research, campaign architecture and configuration, ad group structure, bid strategies, copywriting, conversion tracking, analytics, and campaign optimisation.
  5. Strategic Google Ads knowledge – possess deep knowledge of Google Ads fundamentals, be an expert at manual Google Ads optimisation, and apply sound judgment in knowing when to apply automatic vs manual optimisation.
  6. Data analytics – provide technical expertise into the Data Analytics function, including through the implementation of analytics and conversion tracking and the configuration of data visualisation platforms.
  7. Google Ads troubleshooting - provide Google Ads advice to other consultants, identify Google Ads issues, troubleshoot technical Google Ads problems, and make both data-driven and intuitive recommendations for actionable improvement to senior consultants and other team members.
  8. Quality focus - manage workloads autonomously, embrace problems, collaborate effectively, deliver high-quality work on time and budget, adapt quickly, solve issues proactively, and take pride in producing excellence.
  9. Client engagement – help to foster strong client relationships, tailor recommendations to goals, deliver excellent service, earn positive feedback, and take ownership of agency success.
  10. AI & emerging technologies – embrace your AI-obsession and voracious appetite for learning to re-think and re-invent traditional Google Ads processes, implementing AI-powered workflow automation and maximising the benefits of AI-based algorithmic optimisation.

You will be working closely with our team of experts to deliver cutting-edge digital marketing solutions that drive real results for our clients.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Google Ads, preferably with agency experience, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, technology, or other associated disciplines.
  • Paid Search Tools – including Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
  • Data Analytics – analysis, reporting, and data visualisation capabilities, enabling you to make insightful decisions and recommendations.

Bonus points if you can also demonstrate:

  • Experience working in a marketing agency and a love for fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other popular CMS, as well as the ability to recommend Paid Search strategies that consider broader UX considerations.
  • Skills in other digital marketing areas like SEO, Meta Ads, Organic Social, Remarketing, Email Marketing, Brand, UX, Web Design, Web Development, Copywriting, or Graphic Design.
  • Experience building AI automations and building AI agents.
