The Opportunity
We're expanding our Geo-Environmental Engineering team and seeking a Senior Associate or Principal-level Engineer to join our Brisbane office, Gold Coast, or Sunshine Coast location.
This role offers flexibility and the chance to lead a technical team while building strong client relationships across Australia. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering projects in civil infrastructure, waste, water, and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver projects focused on waste management, including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications, resource recovery solutions, water infrastructure, mining, ground engineering, and slope stabilisation and rehabilitation.
- Develop cutting-edge solutions for geo-environmental challenges by integrating waste management into broader infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review technical documentation for waste-related projects across planning, design, and execution phases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the waste and geo-environmental sectors, supporting project delivery and business development initiatives.
- Ensure technical excellence in waste and geo-environmental engineering by overseeing quality and risk management.
About You
You will likely hold a tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering, supported by over 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Required skills include extensive experience in delivering high-quality detailed design documentation, deep technical expertise in waste management, ability to assess and design for subsurface environmental risks, proficiency in using design software, excellent communication skills, experience leading and contributing to multidisciplinary project teams, and a proactive mindset with a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and technical excellence.
