We are seeking a skilled and experienced civil designer to join our engineering team. As a civil designer, you will be responsible for transforming engineering ideas into high-quality detailed design documents.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the civil engineering discipline, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. They will also have demonstrated design experience on earthworks, roads, storm water, and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of draft, concept or detailed 3D and 2D designs and drawings in line with industry standards
- Collaboration with team lead and engineers for efficient and accurate design outcomes
- Ensuring design and drawing compliance with relevant standards, legislation and company procedures
- Quantities, calculations, and cost estimates
The position is full-time.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years design and documentation experience in the civil engineering discipline;
- Proficiency in the application of AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
- Demonstrated design experience on earthworks, roads, storm water and infrastructure projects;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a team;
- Good verbal, oral and written skills; and
- Full Australian working rights.
