Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing to join our team in Bundaberg, QLD. This role involves assessing and monitoring patient health, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Monitoring: Assess patient health needs, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Patient Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide patients and their families with education and support to enhance overall well-being.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively in emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Medication Assistance: Assist patients with medication as needed, adhering to established protocols.
Requirements
- Certificate IV or III in Aged Care and Disability
- NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Influenza Vaccine (2024 or current)
- Minimum 6 months of Aged Care experience
- Full working rights in Australia
