The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community. The agency's team is committed to its visions and values, passionately providing support, service, and advocacy for vulnerable members of the community.
The Aboriginal Family Preservation and Reunification Response (AFPR) program offers intensive initial intervention and sustained service support aimed at preventing at-risk Aboriginal children from entering care. Our core aim is to prevent the removal of children from homes and aid children who have recently been placed in out-of-home care in being reunified with their families.
As a key member of our small cohesive team, you will actively engage with Aboriginal families with children and young people, aiding them in fostering a safe and healthy family environment. You will work with existing services, providing an enhanced continuum of care statewide.
