Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
Job Description:
The HSE Manager will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental activities across the domain. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, leading safety initiatives, and promoting a culture of responsibility within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and mitigate HSE risks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain competency records, certification, and training programs for employees.
- Implement and monitor Thales' HSE policies and procedures.
- Lead HSE initiatives and provide safety leadership for high-risk operations and construction activities.
- Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze KPIs and objectives, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Mentor and develop the HSE team to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
- Experience in senior HSE roles, preferably in high-risk industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant legislation.
- Experience in mental health and well-being initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
