Administrative Support to Judiciary and Courts

The role involves ensuring delivery of high-quality and professional administrative support to the judiciary and courts, as well as leading teams in providing excellent service to clients and other stakeholders.

This Registrar position will work across various jurisdictions within the court registry, requiring adaptability and a focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain supportive team environments, develop staff capabilities, and address performance issues effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced court environment
  • Managing and motivating staff to achieve their best
  • Supporting staff wellbeing and promoting a positive working environment
  • Implementing procedures and training to ensure best practices and standards are met
  • Adapting to work in different locations and jurisdictions
  • Undertaking quasi-judicial or statutory functions, such as LEPRA applications or conducting call-overs
Requirements
  • Experience leading and managing teams in a challenging environment
  • Strong people management and organisational skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement effective solutions
  • Interest in working in the NSW justice system
  • Adaptability and willingness to work in different locations and jurisdictions
  • Capacity to undertake statutory functions of a Registrar
