
Mental Health Specialist

A clinical psychologist is required to provide comprehensive psychological assessments, care and management for a large-scale randomised controlled trial.
About the Opportunity- This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a leading hospital environment.
The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to a challenging project that demands strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment, care and management for patients participating in the trial.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide recommendations for patients' mental health needs.
- Work closely with researchers and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current registration to practice as a psychologist with endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology.
- A postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and ACPA.
- Demonstrated expertise in the provision of clinical psychology interventions.
