Chief Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist for a short-term contract role with our client, a government agency based in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on various projects and develop your skills in procurement.
About the Role
- This 4-6 month contract will see you working closely with the procurement team across different areas including strategy, sourcing, planning, data analysis and reporting, supplier engagement, and contract management.
Your Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for supporting the procurement team with tasks such as strategy development, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Requirements
- A degree in procurement or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in procurement or a similar field.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
