Chief Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function, developing and implementing strategies to support the business needs of our organization. This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process from initiation to final receipt and approval of goods.
About the Role- This role requires extensive experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain.
- The successful candidate will have knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and market analysis skills.
- Strong negotiation skills are required to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
- Proficiency in analysing data and making informed decisions is essential.
- Centralise the group approach to supplier management for direct spend.
- Leverage purchasing power to enhance pricing and rebate outcomes.
- Create and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and high-quality goods and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Manage the purchasing budget and ensure procurement activities stay within financial constraints.
- Analyse market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work closely with internal departments to forecast needs and specifications.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to improve procurement efficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPM.
