About the Position:
The Executive Director is a key leadership role that oversees the implementation of strategic and operational plans for NSLA member libraries.
- This includes negotiating with senior staff from NSLA libraries to reach consensus on priority pieces of work and resource allocation.
- The successful candidate will communicate effectively with the wider library, cultural, government, and research sectors on behalf of NSLA member libraries.
- The Executive Director will also manage a remote team of four colleagues based in Melbourne, Darwin, and Wellington, New Zealand.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, high-level strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management capability, and an extensive understanding of the library sector.
