Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an Environment Management System with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and best practice. You will assist with the coordination of environmental risk assessments and identify potential environmental impacts. Your task will be to develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce those risks. Additionally, you will provide support to regional and site environmental teams through functions such as data entry, review and analysis, reporting, review and update of cross-site manuals and procedures, and the preparation and submission of reports. You will also assist with the coordination of internal and external environmental audits.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong foundation in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- The ability to work autonomously and use initiative to take ownership of your work.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to think creatively and collaboratively.
