About the Role

At Jemena, we are seeking a highly experienced engineering professional to drive the development and delivery of network and customer-initiated projects, with a focus on transforming the electricity grid and ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and drive scoping and delivery of network and customer-initiated projects.
  2. Conduct the development and management of technical standards for primary electricity assets in zone substations.
  3. Provide technical guidance in supporting the Network Assets team, fostering growth in evolving systems to meet future industry expectations.
  4. Support the development of asset management strategies, ensuring optimal performance, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Stay at the forefront of industry innovation, engaging with external stakeholders and incorporating new technologies.

About You

We are looking for an individual with solid experience in the electrical supply industry, proven experience in technical and project management, strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer Accreditation desirable).

Requirements:

  1. Solid experience in the electrical supply industry.
  2. Proven experience in technical and project management, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  3. Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer Accreditation desirable).
  4. In-depth knowledge of evolving electricity network functions and industry advancements.
  5. Ability to build relationships and deliver outcomes in a commercial environment.
