Operations Lead
This is a leadership role that oversees the daily and reactive maintenance of stockpile sites. The successful candidate will have experience in managing stockpile sites, implementing safety and environmental controls, and operating plant and machinery.
About the Role
The Operations Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing material separation and stockpiling processes across multiple sites. They will investigate opportunities to increase support stakeholders through the intake, supply, and development of materials. The role also involves working with the leadership team to develop and promote 'Zero Waste' targets across Asset Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement material separation and stockpiling processes across multiple sites
- Investigate opportunities to increase support stakeholders through the intake, supply, and development of materials
- Work with the leadership team to develop and promote 'Zero Waste' targets across Asset Maintenance
- Lead a work team to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained, functional, and all safety related requirements are in place
- Manage multiple site locations on a day-to-day basis, including site safety and environmental controls throughout stockpiling, and maintenance activities
- Record daily quantities of outgoing materials and manage the relocation of produced materials to satellite sites
- Participate in after hours and emergency response by the department
Requirements
- Experience in day-to-day management of stockpile sites and implementing safety and environmental controls
- Ability to complete relevant administrative activities
- Certification in the operation of Backhoe (required)
- Certification in the operation of Excavator (required)
- Current HR Class Driver's Licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency
- Current First Aid and CPR Training (or the willingness to obtain)
