Apprentice Pump Technician Required
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Pump Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.
The successful candidate will assist experienced service technicians with the installation, maintenance and repair of pumps and associated equipment for all customers in Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the servicing and repair of pumps, mixers and other equipment
- Attending designated work sites to carry out maintenance and inspections of equipment at waste water pump stations, treatment works and clean water distribution networks
- Assisting with the collection and delivery of repaired pumps and equipment to and from customer sites to local service centers
- Working with the sales team to maximize pump sales
- Attending theory sections of the apprenticeship and completing e-profiling
- General housekeeping duties
Requirements include:
- Work experience or interest in mechanical rotating equipment, particularly pumps
- Valid driver's license
- High level of communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Completion of secondary school - Year 10/11/12
