Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Pharmacist to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmacy services, leadership, and expertise in patient and medication safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across a seven-day extended hours roster
  • Work collaboratively with an established team to achieve patient-centred care and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Support Partnered Pharmacist Medication Prescribing and critical thinking in clinical decision-making
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications & Registration: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent, registration, or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
  2. Skills & Abilities: Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  3. Experience: Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership, supervision, and management responsibilities
  4. Knowledge & Competence: In-depth knowledge of pharmacy practice, relevant standards, ability to educate, train, and drive service improvement
