We are seeking a passionate and motivated Community Development Officer to assist in the development and implementation of our driver mentor program, Braking the Cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Braking the Cycle Driving Program within the Youth Club by recruiting, training, and managing Mentors;
  • Assist in sourcing local funding and sponsorship through the development and maintenance of long-term strategic partnerships with corporate and community organisations.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of contemporary human services and child protection policies and procedures is essential;
  • At least three years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the community sector, is required;
  • The ability to manage time and meet competing deadlines and commitments is crucial;
  • A current Driver's License, eligible to obtain an RDA if required.
