The Role
As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services, you will provide specialist general medicine and geriatric medicine services. Your key responsibility will be to promote and lead the delivery of holistic health care for older people.

The Location

The Hospital
This hospital is a major clinical teaching and research centre, working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. It provides a range of services, including acute, sub-acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people.

The Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have completed one of the following:
  • FRACP
  • Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland
  • Have had your specialist training assessed by the RACP and have been found to be Substantially comparable.
