Hospital Information

This hospital is Australia's second oldest, dating back to 1804. As a major clinical teaching and research centre, we work closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions to provide high-quality patient care. Our hospital provides a range of services, including acute, sub-acute, mental health, and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people.

Key Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Equivalent specialist training from the UK, USA, Canada, or Ireland
  • Specialist training assessed by the RACP and found to be substantially comparable
Estimated Salary

Ranging from $250,000 to $400,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
