OT Field Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled OT Field Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering IT and OT networking and security technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver IT and OT networking and security technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project or services.
  • Follow safety plans and apply a safety-first approach to every aspect of service delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risk, escalating high-risk items to management.
  • Manage and promptly resolve IT/OT issues.
  • Manage and track tasks to complete within budget and time constraints.
  • Plan and manage the quality of OT and IT networking and security technical deliverables.
  • Incorporate strong security controls and monitoring into the IT and OT infrastructure of the project.
  • Troubleshoot IT and OT network and security issues of Honeywell scope.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems (including within virtual environments).
  • Hands-on experience (design, build, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade) of VMware virtual infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with OT monitoring applications such as Solarwinds and Claroty.
  • Knowledge of SCADA system including PLC and DCS (preferably Honeywell DCS/SCADA).
  • Industry experience in Oil and Gas is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies including network switches, routers, firewalls, and VLANs is desirable.
  • Understands IT and OT security requirements including firewalls, content control, intrusion prevention, vulnerability mitigation, and 2-way authentication.

Certifications:

  • Network CCNA, CCNP desirable.
  • Microsoft MCSE desirable.
  • VMware qualifications like VCP, NSX, VMCE are desirable.
