We're seeking a skilled and creative Full-Time Technical 3D Animator to join our team working on quality games for a global market using the Unity game engine across all platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in character animation, understanding how to make animations work with underlying control systems, creating seamless, high-quality, well-timed gameplay experiences for players.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with artists, programmers, and audio designers to implement, set up, and tweak animations in-game in Unity
- Work closely with the Character modeling team to maximize animation and character performance potential
- Demonstrate a broad range of character and object/building animations
- Improve character visuals when needed, such as mesh deformation and facial animations
- Strong understanding of the Unity animation pipeline
- Portfolio and reel demonstrating relevant artistic skills required
- Two years of animation work in games
- Self-motivation and self-reliance
- Ability to research and learn new tools quickly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience using Unity
- Great attention to detail
- Proficiency using 3dsmax
- Experience with Mecanim
- Understanding of technical requirements for character combat and control systems
- Creating/writing scripts to increase workflow process
- Knowledge of using Git/Sourcetree, SVN, perforce, or willingness to learn
