Policy and Project Coordinator Opportunity

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our School and Teaching Standards Division. This role offers variety, autonomy, and opportunities to build strong professional networks across the agency and beyond.

About the Role

  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of projects related to the Work Program for the School and Teaching Standards Division
  • Support Agency and Government initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the coordination and monitoring of projects in the Division's Work Program
  2. Prepare accurate, timely, and government-aligned briefing notes, discussion papers, reports, and Ministerial correspondence
  3. Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools
  4. Support consultation coordination, workshops, and working groups to engage stakeholders effectively
  5. Conduct research and synthesize findings to inform policy advice, reporting, and evaluation activities
  6. Demonstrate strong writing skills with experience drafting government briefings, policy papers, and Ministerial correspondence
  7. Display a strong understanding of project management principles and confidence using digital tools to plan, monitor, and report on progress
