Senior Civil Engineer Opportunity

About the Role
  • You will work with limited supervision, referring up as necessary, on works associated with Civil Design.
  • Design and technical consultation in areas such as roads and earthworks, stormwater including WSUD, flood risk management, pavements and utilities.
  • Prepare civil designs on small and medium sized projects, as well as being responsible for specific elements of large projects.
  • Client liaison, design, technical documentation, reporting, and tender submissions.
  • Scheduling work to meet deadlines, monitoring budgets and resourcing and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies (including Chartered Status from the Institution of Engineers Australia)
  • Relevant industry experience in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on designing roads, earthworks, drainage, pavements and utilities within a consulting business environment;
  • Experience in the operation of software design tools including 12D and in the operation of AutoCAD on Infrastructure projects is required;
  • Experience using hydraulic modelling packages (in particular 12D Drainage and/or Drains) is required.
