Rotables Coordinator

**About the role**

UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are seeking a Rotable (Repairable Spares) Engineer for a full-time permanent role at our Spotswood locomotive maintenance facility in Victoria.

**Key duties of this role;**
- Support / Expedite / Manage the supply of Rotables for operational requirements.
- Coordination & monitor Rotables movements to subcontractors from & to Spotswood including generating required Purchase Orders and Delivery Documents.
- Analyse, Manage & Monitor delivery rotables requirements and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.
- Attend materials review/Loco readiness review meeting to prepare & support rotables requirements.
- Monitor usage and fallout rates including costs to ensure the performance is to required standards, assist Engineering to determine repair scopes and improvement opportunities
- Coordination & resolution of issues with materials shortages.
- Liaise with warehouse and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.
- Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Engineering Lead

**About you**
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics disciplines.
- Any experience working in a manufacturing environment gained in the rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment will be highly desired.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
- Excellent computer literacy skills - Excel, VBA, PowerBI, SAP etc.
