Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Power Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced solutions for a wide variety of clients, including development of renewable energy initiatives such as onshore and offshore wind, solar, batteries and waste to energy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading advisory services to clients, helping resolve project challenges, develop Owner's standard requirements, reviewing technical submissions from OEM vendors and EPC Contractors, and coordinating with a team of local and international experts.
  • Managing time, quality and financial aspects on projects and proposals to meet deadlines and project success criteria.
  • Guiding and reviewing the designs for large generator interconnections related to both onshore and offshore environments, with a working knowledge of the local networks and requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng., BS or MS) and Chartered Professional Engineering is highly preferred.
  • Expert knowledge on electrical systems and components in an Australian context.
  • Eager to make a difference in the green energy transition.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years' experience in large scale renewables design or project development.
  • Significant project experience – preferably within a similar role.
  • Team Leadership and Development - strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate effectively with employees and clients, resolve conflicts, and foster an environment of continuous learning and development.
