Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Support Worker to join our team at VMCH. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to elderly members of our community, enabling them to live more fulfilling and independent lives.

• Provide one-on-one support to clients in their own home environment, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and transfers, as needed.
• Transport clients to and from appointments, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
• Use aids and personal equipment to support clients' daily living needs.

This role will cover the following suburbs: Clayton, Springvale, Mornington, Clyde North, Frankston, and Pakenham.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about caring for the older members of our community and their families. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a flexible working schedule. You will also have a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals.
