Responsibilities and Deliverables

As a skilled software development professional, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot and Java 8
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Implementing best practices for software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration using JUNIT and MOCKITO
  • Developing and integrating RESTful APIs using Spring REST to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of payment handling software
  • Coordinating with the team to accomplish various sprint activities
  • Monitoring and analyzing logs, config maps, deployments, and deployment configs in OpenShift containers
  • Writing Splunk queries to extract relevant data and insights
  • Developing and executing SQL and MongoDB queries to retrieve and manipulate data
  • Creating Liquibase scripts for database handling and schema changes
