This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the National Parks and Wildlife Service in NSW, contributing to the conservation of the state's environment, flora, fauna, and Aboriginal heritage.

As a Field Officer, you will be part of a team working on diverse activities related to maintenance and improvement of park assets within NPWS parks and reserves.

You will operate and maintain plant and equipment, participate in fire management activities, respond to visitor enquiries, and assist with compliance activities as required.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for their community and environment, coupled with strong attention to detail and safety skills.

You will be a strong decision-maker with the ability to lead operations at times and solve problems in the field.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $68,174 and $72,606 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a physically active role suited to candidates of all genders who are fit, enjoy working outdoors as part of a team, and are eager to learn and develop the skills and qualifications needed to contribute toward improving and maintaining some of NSW's most precious natural places.
