Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Weir. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.

About the Role
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including heavy machinery, hydraulic presses, and CNC machines.
  • Inspect and test equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize plant operational capacity and meet production targets.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
